What is Athletic Performance Training?
Athletic Performance Training is an athletic performance group training for student athletes ages 12-18 at Holly Street Physical Therapy’s Performance Annex. Our certified trainers run them through a variety of drills and exercises to prepare them for all physical aspects of game play. Each session focuses on improving speed, agility, jumping and strength. No matter the sport, these skills are important for success.
What does a session look like?
- 30 minutes of Vertimax training
- 30 minutes of strength training
What is VertiMax training?
VertiMax training is a popular system used by teams in the NFL, NBA and MLB, as well as many collegiate teams. It is a platform complete with adjustable resistance bands connected to straps worn by the athlete. These bands in combination with plyometric exercise and athletic drills improve vertical jump, explosiveness, and agility.
- Athletes will be placed in a group of up to 8 athletes.
- $12.50 per session (individual training sessions are also available for $30)
